Siqueira set for Newcastle loan move, says Sky Sports
The left-back had been given permission by Atlético Madrid to seek regular first-team football elsewhere for the remainder of the season.
Atlético Madrid defender Guilherme Siqueira is poised to join Newcastle United on loan until the rest of the season, according to Sky Sports.
Following the return of Filipe Luis to the Vicente Calderón, the left-back has fallen down the pecking order this term.
Having been given permission to speak to other teams with a view to securing regular first-team football for the rest of the campaign, Siqueira had offers from several clubs, including former club Benfica.
However, the 29-year-old appears set to make the move to the Premier League.
Siqueira is expected to be Atlético's only January departure, with Rojiblancos boss Diego Simeone unwilling to lose any further players for the season run-in.
