Leverkusen will sell Chicharito if "exorbitant" offer comes along

Michael Schade, Bayer Leverkusen's general director, does not want to sell on-fire Mexican striker, but indicated that he'd have to consider "exorbitant offers".

Leverkusen will sell Chicharito if "exorbitant" offer comes along

Michael Schade, general director at Bayer Leverkusen doesn't want to lose his hot-property. Javier Hernandez, better known as Chicharito, is having his best season since he showed up in Europe: 22 goals in all competitions.

Shade signalled, however, that if an offer came in that was too good to refuse, Chicharito might be on his way to another club.

"Right now we don't want to sell any of our players, we want to keep the team united and improve it, but we are a business, a commercial entity and if exorbitant offers come in, we'll examine them and see if they benefit us".

"I would say that for us Kevin Kampl and Hernández are a package, more important than a single player. If we manage that same connection with all of our transfers, then we're strengthening the quality of our team", said Shade in the newspaper 'Rheinische Post'.
