Real Madrid 'Galacticos': Then and Now

David Beckham made 116 appearances for Real Madrid following a move from Manchester United in 2003. He stayed in Madrid through to 2007 and moved to MLS franchise LA Galaxy.

The Brazilian is a keen poker player and a member of the 'Pokerstars' group. He is also a minor shareholder in NASL franchise Fort Lauderdale Strikers. He retired from the game in 2011 after a two year spell with Corinthians.
Roberto Carlos: The Brazilian left back spent nine years at the Bernabeu clocking up 370 appearances with 47 goals in that time.
Following a spell as player manager at Dehli Dynamos in India, the 42 year old is currently back at Real Madrid working with the youth system. He is apparently set to be Beckham's first choice as coach of the new Miami MLS franchise.
Whilst not one of Florentino's Galactico signings, Raul was considered as a member of the Galactico select. An iconic figure for Real Madrid fans making 550 appearances and scoring 228 goals for the Bernabeu side.
Raul played his last competitive game for NY Cosmos on November 7, 2015. He is currently working in an ambassadorial role for LaLiga and is touted as a future Real Madrid head coach.
