Jose Mourinho will begin his new career at Old Trafford with an unwelcome public appearance alongside Eva Carneiro, the ex-doctor at Chelsea FC, who is bringing a case against the club and manager for incidents that happened when they were both working there.

The Portuguese coach and the doctor staged one of the most talked about incidents of last season when Carneiro entered the field of play to attend to Eden Hazard who was lying on the pitch injured. Mourinho was furious with her for doing so and made it clear to all including some abusive language directed at the medic.

The trial begins on Monday 6 June with Carneiro claiming for wrongful dismissal from the club - which occurred two months after the incident - and harassment and discrimination by Mourinho.
