Real Madrid get their LaLiga campaign underway against Real Sociedad tonight at 20:15 CEST without five key figures in Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe, Karim Benzema, Keylor Navas (all unfit) and the suspended Luka Modric.

And to cover these absences, Real coach Zinedine Zidane begins his first full season in charge of Los Blancos by fielding Kiko Casilla, Raphael Varane and Álvaro Morata to fill in for Navas, Pepe and Cristiano, respectively.

Meanwhile, he has opted for Mateo Kovacic to replace the suspended Modric and places his faith in Marco Asensio - who makes his league debut for Real - up front alongside Morata and Gareth Bale. Isco, James Rodríguez and Lucas Vázquez are forced to settle for a spot on the bench.
