The Atlético Madrid goalkeeper, Jan Oblak, went into the derby on the back of a four-game run of conceding goals, equalling his worst record in an Atlético shirt.
Normally a safe pair of hands
Usually a calming presence behind the rojiblanco defence, Oblak had shipped nine goals this season, seven of them in LaLiga.
