Sampaoli: "I try to fight against 'office worker' players"

Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli spoke to beIN SPORTS ahead of his side's visit to Osasuna on Sunday (12:00, CET).

Transmitting enthusiasm

"We're still fighting with people that are resistant to the idea. I try to push them forward constantly; it's a daily fight that we're just starting. I try to fight against the office worker player who wants to play and then leave, and that's it".

How will your high-octane style of play affect your players' energy levels?

"The preparation and physical side is very important but so was the image we gave out against Madrid, who we're really tight at the back. Emotions and the feeling of enjoying the game is exactly what the team are doing".

Nzonzi and Nasri

"Those two players give the team the chance to move towards a definite style. It would be impossible with other players. The communication between the two means the whole team can flow".

How far can Sevilla go?

"Success is not something continuous. The style of play and the idea will never be changed; we have to be aware that every time we walk on the Sánchez Pizjuán pitch people are euphoric from the first minute to the last".
