Sevilla celebrate their 127th birthday

Sevilla FC are celebrating their 127th birthday today - Sevilla Football Club, from which the current entity originated, was founded on 25th January 1890, and that date was recognized by in a shareholders' meeting in 2015 as the day when Sevilla FC came into being - until then, it was believed that Sevilla was founded on 14th October 1905.
Celebrations
To celebrate their special day, Sevilla have organized a traditional birthday meal, inviting every category from the Under-7s right the way up through the youth teams to the first team to a well-known restaurant in the city.

And as an apéritif, the day started with the squad posing for a group photograph with a birthday cake before this morning's training session.
