New ambassador Ronaldinho can't decide: his Barcelona or PSG
The Brazilian World Cup winner, recently appointed as ambassador to FC Barcelona, has said that he cannot choose between two teams that will always be in his heart.
Fond memories of past clubs
Ronaldinho has surprised many people with his answer to who he'll support in the Champions League tie that sees PSG face-off against Barcelona. The 2004 and 2005 Fifa World Player of the Year was speaking with Goal.com ahead of the first leg in Paris and said, "I will never choose between the two teams".
The 2002 World Cup winner with Brazil was recently appointed into an ambassadorial role at the Catalan club when he played between 2003 and 2008. Immediately prior to that he had spent two years with the Parisian side and he hasn't lost any love for them:
"Both are in my heart. It's hard for me because I love both teams, it's too difficult."
In football, anything can happen
Forgetting his heart, the Brazilian's head couldn't pick a winner either.
"Anything can happen during a game," he said when asked if Barça were too strong for PSG. "These are two great teams with world-class players and everything can happen. There is nothing certain. In football, nothing is impossible."
