Diego Costa enthuses over Kylian Mbappé: "He's something else"
The Spain and Chelsea striker also spoke about Karim Benzema, Tuesday's rivals France and his future plans in an interview with Téléfoot.France-Netherlands live stream online

Diego Costa gave an exclusive interview to French television programme Téléfoot in which he was full of praise for Monaco's teenage talent Kylian Mbappé who made his full international debut for France aged just 18 yesterday and is on the agenda of a number of Europe's top clubs, including Real Madrid.

Costa sings Mbappé's praises
“If he continues progressing at this pace he's going to be something else - he's a phenomenon. He has an assassin's eye for goal and he also has good movement. I hope he does go down that route and continue to become an even better player”, Costa enthused.

France needs Benzema, says Costa
The Chelsea player also referred to the Valbuena case involving Karim Benzema, who has been excluded from the France squad by coach Didier Deschamps following allegations of blackmail: “I really don't know what happened, but Benzema is Benzema. It's difficult to not be able to count on a figure of his importance - he's a world class player. He should be with his national team, for the good of football”.
Spain bring their international fixtures to a close with a friendly against France in Saint-Denis on Tuesday. A youthful squad is just one of the attributes which Deschamps' team has, says Costa: “France showed at the last Euros that they are a very strong side. They also have a lot of young players which give them a broad margin of progression”.

Mbappé, Griezmann, Kanté... France's dangermen
He also had words to say about the player who replaced him at Atlético de Madrid, Antoine Griezmann: “He's a great player. And they also have N’Golo Kanté - one of my team mates at Chelsea… France have a lot of talent, and collectively, that makes them a very dangerous side”.
