Asprilla calls Madrid a "team of rats" and then blames Pique
The Colombian took to Twitter shortly after the final whistle at the Santiago Bernabéu as Real Madrid progressed, with controversy in the Champions League.

Former Newcastle United fan favourite, Colombian Faustino Asprilla took to his Twitter account at the conclusion of the Champions League match last night at the Bernabeu as Madrid controversially sealed their passage to the semi-final of the competition.

"No more robbery from Real Madrid with goals scored in offside positions, dubious sending-offs. No more robbery, team of rats". He later spoke to ESPN and discussed key moments in games that can totally change te panorama of a match and the inevitable outcome.
After the repercussion generated by his original tweet he later ironically blamed Barça defender Gerard Pique for "hacking" his social media account.
