Real Madrid season tickets: 635 season tickets confiscated for selling El Clásico tickets
The club released a statement that said 635 season ticket holders had their tickets taken away as they are invesitgated for selling the tickets to the Barcelona game.
Real Madrid have withdrawn 635 season tickets from holders as they are believed to have illegally sold their tickets to El Clásico. It is an illegal offence to resell season tickets in Spain and while the initial number was said to be closer to 357, the scope of the investigation is much bigger.
The club released a statement that said, "Real Madrid has forwarded these cases to the club's committee of social discipline to initiate the disciplinary files that could lead to the expulsion of these members."
Real Madrid said they would continue to work hard to ensure that the practice of reselling tickets was stamped out along with the help of the Madrid police.
