Real Madrid fans gather in vast numbers to greet team bus
Madrid's so-called 'Quedada Blanca', or 'White Rendez-vouz', ahead of the Atlético match, saw swathes of supporters take to the streets by the Bernabéu.
Real Madrid fans answered the call of their team and headed out in their thousands to cheer the team bus as it drove to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium for the Champions League semi-final first leg against rivals Atlético.

Fans gathered in Plaza Sagrados Corazones, waving scarfs above their heads and chanting the names of Ronaldo and co., as they did before the semi-final clash against Atléti.

The conditions were gorgeous for the 'Quedada', with Madrid bathed in early-evening sun. Crowds arrived over an hour before the bus arrived.
