The clock continues to tick down to Cardiff on June 3 with Juventus aiming for their third European Cup haul whilst Real Madrid hope to find room in their bulging trophy cabinet for a 12th European Cup, Here's a brief look at the latest news affecting the men from Turin.

18,000 'tifosi' Cardiff bound

Juventus are unquestionably the most popular team in Italy and testament to that is the 18,000 fans making the trip to Cardiff with "tifosi" travelling on 38 coaches and 27 charter flights from diverse points in the country such as Turin, Milan, Bergamo, Verona, Bologna, Rome and Catania. Another 42 coaches will ferry fans from London for Cardiff ahead of Saturday's showdown.

Win bonus

€350,000 will be paid to each Juve player should they manage to beat Real Madrid in Cardiff on Saturday night in the Champions League final. This would see owner Andrea Agnelli parting with €9,000,000 to the 26 members of his squad should they emerge victorious in Cardiff.

European rich list

The Turin giants are in ninth position in the recently KPMG published European Elite 2017 list showcasing the richest club's in the European game. The "Old Lady" lie in ninth position with an estimated value of 1.218 million euro.

Welsh connection

The "Gentle Giant" John Charles and more recently Ian Rush are two illustrious Welsh footballers to have worn the famous black and white striped shirt. Rush is the UEFA Cardiff final ambassador and has made no secret of where his loyalty lies when both sides take to the pitch on Saturday.
