Real Madrid and Portugal number seven is the headline act for the new football game.
One of the genres that rarely falls from a video gamer's collection is a sports simulator. In Spain, like many countries, it seems impossible to find someone who doesn't like football and who therefore takes control of their favourite team aiming to reach the pinnacle, or battle it out against friends and strangers to be crowned the best.

Fifa's gaming franchise continues to lead the way and in the latest edition we see Cristiano Ronaldo as protagonist. This is hardly surprising given his medal haul over the past 12 months. Double Champions League, LaLiga, Club World Cup, European Super Cup with Real Madrid plus the European Championships with Portugal. Add to that his Ballon d'Or and numerous goal-scoring milestones reached and you can understand why Fifa may have been keen to have him as their poster-boy despite plenty of competition.
