Ceballos leaves stadium with a limp from left knee injury

After his first minutes in a Real Madrid jersey, Dani Ceballos was seen limping after the game due to a problem with his left knee even though he finished the game.

Dani Ceballos' debut for Real Madrid did not go as planned. He came on after the hour mark with his new side trailing 2-0 and while he finished the game, he left the stadium with a limp stemming from an issue with his left knee. As we await news of the scope of the injury, the fact that he finished the game suggests it can't be too bad. Nothing, however, is clear at this point.

Like Vallejo, Ceballos played in his first action in a white jersey. The central defender has been a Real Madrid player for two years but has never played in the jersey after two loan spells. Ceballos' debut almost ended with a goal too but his shot was high and off target.

Along with the two debuts for Vallejo and Ceballos, Marcos Llorente, Marco Asensio and Borja Mayoral saw their first action of the tour. The three players were with Spain's under-21s and joined up with the squad later than the rest in Los Angeles. And that leaves just Rubén Yáñez and Sergio Ramos to get on the field as the captain continues to battle with a problem with his ear and Yáñez waits patiently for his chance.
