Marcelo spoke at a press conference after he renewed his contract with Real Madrid until 2022. He explained why Zizou is the best manager he has ever had and leaves Lionel Messi out of the best players he has ever played against.

The best trainer: "Zizou. Without even speaking to him, there is an understanding there, it only takes a look. Maybe, it's because he was a player but it is difficult to unite one of the greatest teams in the world in such a short time.

The greatest to give advice: "That would be my Grandad. There were some good ones that I needed to keep in my head. Many people have given me advice including family, colleagues, former colleagues and directors."

The best player you played with and the most difficult rival: "I have played with Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Van Nistlerooy but you already know who is the best. It's Cristiano. He is the most complete and the most difficult opponent is Neymar."

The best moment and the saddest for you: "Basically, everything that has happened to me. If not, I would not still be here after 10 years. My family have grown up here and that feeling of happiness still remains. Now, I have more hunger and I have matured a lot with this club and felt many things. There are a lot of great moments. Everyday when I wake up, and see my family living here in Madrid. The moments that we have won titles. But the happiness of my family is the most important. The worst moment was when they called me to loan me out. When they don't rely on you, it's normal but that hit me the hardest and the support of me family really helped."
