Enzo Zidane: “The Real Madrid game's going to be a bit strange for me”
The Alavés forward admitted that the team is going through "a difficult moment" but believes they have enough time to turn things around.
Deportivo Alavés midfielder Enzo Zidane says he expects Saturday's meeting with Real Madrid "to be a bit strange" as he will be up against his lifelong club for the first time - the club which he started out with when he was aged just eight years old.

The 22-year-old, who joined Alavés on a three-year deal back in June, added that the game will be " extra special" and warned that he intends "to take at least a point" from the team coached by his father, Zinedine Zidane.
"My father has always been an example, he was a great footballer and I have always studied what he does to try and learn and improve my own game", Enzo said today.
As for Madrid's current crop of stars, Enzo revealed that Luka Modric is one of the players he has a special admiration for because he "is capable of doing something a little bit different which produces a very attractive style of football. He's a reference and I have been fortunate enough to play alongside him during my career".
Enzo Zidane explained that one of the reasons he decided to move on over the summer was tio "move away from his comfort zone" which he had grown used to at Real Madrid: "And I've been lucky to land at a club which has taken me under their wing and helped at supported me since I arrived. That's important for a player who is making big changes to their lives; before coming to Alavés, I had never lived far away from my family", he continued. "Ibai [Gómez] is a player I look up to and he's helped me a lot - both in day to day life in Vitoria as well as out on the field of play; he looks after me and protects me".

The Alavés No.21 recognized that the team has been struggling to get into their stride and need a decent result to lift themselves out of the relegation places but insists they have time to turn things around. "I have total faith ion my team mates and I know we are going to put in some good games of football"; as for his personal aims, Enzo says his idea is to: "develop as a player, learn and improve".
