Alfredo Di Stéfano Street is unveiled in Valdefuentes
The street, named in honour of the former Real Madrid player and coach was inaugurated on Saturday on the 64th anniversary of his debut with the club.
The late Alfredo Di Stéfano, who was a player, coach and Honorary president at Real Madrid, now has a street named in his honour close to the club's training complex in Valdebebas. Di Stéfano passed away aged 88 in July 2014.

This afternoon, members of Di Stéfano's family were present for the inauguration of Calle de Alfredo Di Stéfano in the Valdefuentes district of Madrid, the urban area of Valdebebas. Also in attendance was the president-councillor for the Hortaleza ward, Yolanda Rodríguez.

The Municipal council for the Hortaleza ward voted unanimously in favour of honouring Di Stéfano with the proposal of naming a street after the Real Madrid legend. Today's inauguration coincided with Di Stéfano's debut for Madrid, against FC Nancy on 23rd September 1953. Calle de Alfredo Di Stéfano is located between Calle Félix Candela and Calle Julio Cano Lasso.
