Plans released as to how the Ballon d'Or candidates will be named
L'Equipe say it will be an all day affair as the 30 names will be released over the course of the day starting in the morning of the 9th of October.

L'Equipe have announced that they will release the list of 30 Ballon d'Or 2017 candidate on the 9th of October.
The names will be announced gradually throughout the day starting at 09:00 CEST in the morning until 19:15 CEST on all platforms at once: social media networks, francefootball.fr, L'Équipe.fr and the L'Équipe channel.
Also, the last 15 names will be announced live on television show L'Équipe d'Estelle starting at 17:45. There will also be an interview with one of the candidates in France Football on the 10th of October. Cristiano Ronaldo, the winner of the award last year is the favourite for the award again.
