Marcelo responds to follower who criticised his 29 lost balls
Real Madrid's Brazilian left back had a poor game by his standards at Wembley on Wednesday but the defender was quick to reply to one particular critic.
Marcelo didn't enjoy one of his best games at Wembley. Real Madrid's 3-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League was not entirely down to the Brazilian but he certainly gave the Premier League outfit opportunities to hurt them down his side of the pitch.

Uncharacteristically, the normally assured left back gave the ball away on 29 occasions, a new record for him across his 93 matches in Uefa's top competition. And as well as plenty of news outlets pointing this out, some fans and other followers were quick to highlight his shortcomings.
To one particular comment on social media, Marcelo decided to respond. The follower posted a disparaging message questioning: "29 lost balls and you wear the Madrid shirt? Think about it." The Brazilian's reply: "If I lost them, can you help me find them?"
