Real Madrid v Las Palmas squad news: Achraf out
As Zidane said previously there's no place for Gareth Bale or Carvajal. Up front Real Madrid will have Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Mayoral, Asensio and Lucas Vázquez.
Zinedine Zidane has called up 18 players for Real Madrid's LaLiga matchday 11 game against Las Palmas, at the Bernabéu on Sunday night at 20:45.
Achraf Hakimi out against Las Palmas
The big news is the absence of Achraf Hakimi, who has been involved in almost everything since Dani Carjaval was ruled out with pericarditis. He'd played against Espanyol, Getafe and Giron in LaLiga, against Fuenlabrada in the Copa del Rey and the two games against Tottenham in the Champions League.
Achraf birthday
Achraf, who turned 19 yesterday, rotated against Eibar, with Nacho playing right back. For Sunday's game against Las Palmas Zidane has only called up five defenders, with it being understood Nacho will play on the right, Vallejo and Sergio Ramos in the centre, and Theo or Marcelo on the left.
In the midfield, following Zidane's rotation plans, Marcos Llorente may anchor the side, with Cebellas and Isco in front of him, and Marco Asensio, Benzema and Cristiano up front. Kiko Casilla is in goal with Keylor Navas out.
