Paulinho and Coutinho making Barcelona headlines
Mundo Deportivo give a Christmas touch to Paulinho while Sport return their focus onto his compatriot Coutinho and his move from Liverpool to the Camp Nou.
The Catalan sports press have given a Brazilian focus to their front covers, not for the first time, with Paulinho and Coutinho making the headlines.
Paulinho: from mockery to necessity
FC Barcelona's Paulinho is the main story for Mundo Deportivo on Wednesday. The midfielder was tentatively welcomed to the Camp Nou, with a much questioned 40-million euro price tag, but the 29-year old is now seen as an essential part of the Valverde revolution.
"El Clásico motivates me," says the midfielder dressed as Father Christmas on the cover, while the paper states that he "excitedly awaits his Bernabéu debut and endorses the signing of Coutinho."

Coutinho to Barça back on...the front page
Talking of his Brazilian compatriot, Sport are back with what became their summer 2017 soap opera. At time an updated story was being published every day stating that the Liverpool player was moving to the Camp Nou and nothing transpired.
Today the front cover leads with "The final stretch for Coutinho," reporting that "Barça would pay 150 million euros for the player to arrive in January 2018." The paper goes on to say that "the player's representatives met with Barça to plan the assault on Liverpool".
AS English's transfer news will keep you abreast of everything that is happening ahead of, and all the way through, the January transfer window.
