Done deal | Schalke have signed Germany Under-21 international Cedric Teuchert from Nurnberg for an undisclosed fee. The 20-year-old forward steps up from Bundesliga 2 to Germany's top flight and has penned a three-and-a-half-year contract. Teuchert has represented Germany at every age group from Under-15 upwards and scored six times in 15 league outings for Nurnberg during the first half of the season.

  It looks like Swedish striker John Guidetti is leaving Celta Vigo to join fellow LaLiga club Alavés. He is expected to go on loan with an option to make it permanent. Celta play Barcelona tomorrow night in the Copa del Rey and Guidetti has not been named in the matchday squad, instead staying to complete the move. Leon Goretzka is coming to the end of his contract at Schalke and Bayern Munich have openly revealed their interest in him for the first time. Barça and Juve are also reportedly keen on the German midfielder. Read more: Bayern Munich confirm interest in Schalke star Goretzka.

Other English interest piqued by Corriere dello Sport in Italy. Would the highly-rated Manchester United player Henrikh Mkhitaryan be used as a direct swap for Inter Milan's Joao Mario? They suggest so.

News coming in from Sky Sports is that Premier League side Arsenal are in "advanced talks" to sign Konstantinos Mavropanos. The Greek defender (20) who is currently with PAS Giannina could be a Gunner for somewhere in the region of £2.2m and may then go out on loan to the Bundesliga.

  There have been many comments regarding the Coutinho affair and one ex-Red, Jamie Carragher, has stated what he thinks is best for the Anfield club. 

With a release clause of 60 million euros, Manchester City are considering a move to take Samuel Umtiti away from the Camp Nou. Read the story breaking from L'Equipe who claim that the transfer is "feasible".

According to our very own Guillem Balague, Liverpool's tone on the deal has changed from the hard and fast "no" last summer. It will take a lot of money for the deal to go through and, if the two clubs can reach an agreement, a decision will be needed on whether it goes through in January or at the end of this season.
