Police say they "can't arrest half-and-half scarf wearers" before Merseyside derby
Despite requests from both Everton and Liverpool fans, Merseyside Police said they could not arrest anyone wearing a half and half scarf before the derby as it's not illegal... yet!

Love them or hate them, you'll see half-and-half souvenir scarves everywhere before any game in the Premier League these days. But when it comes to the derby - any derby, half-and-half scarves are just wrong, aren't they?
Merseyside Police responded to light-hearted requests from both Everton and Liverpool fans, explaining that they could not arrest anyone wearing a half-and-half scarf before this evening's derby at Anfield because it's not an offence... yet!
Also before we get asked again, no we can’t arrest anyone wearing half and half scarves as it’s not illegal........ yet 😉
