Leganés open English-language Twitter account with a peculiar dictionary

The LaLiga side marked the creation of their English Twitter account with a 'Pepinero to English' dictionary with the key terminology to be a Lega fan.

Update:
Cartel del Leganés.

Leganés sent out the maiden tweet from their English-language Twitter account on Friday. In keeping with the clubs quirky media presence, Los Pepineros didn’t take it too seriously.

The LaLiga club released a ‘dictionary’ that allows foreign supporters to brush up on their Leganés-specific Spanish.

The vocabulary list also acquaints followers with the major personalities at Butarque. Victoria Pavón – the club president – is referred to as ‘The Queen’, while manager Asier Garitano is ‘The Boss’. Nereo Champagne is clarified as ‘Goalkeeper, not drink’.

Leganés have also created an Arabic Twitter account, but are yet to post their first tweet.
