Jan Oblak is on international duty with Slovenia but took a few moments out from his schedule to talk about his situation at Atlético and his future. "As for the possibility of a new contract with Atlético, I can only say one thing: there's nothing new. I've seen what has been written in the press - some claim everything has been sorted and others are saying that I won't be offered a new contract. The only thing I do know is there are no updates, nothing new. I have a contract which I signed two years ago and you, the media, want to know what is going to happen now. We'll soon find out what Atlético's plans are", the keeper told Slovenian daily Ekipa.

PSG, Liverpool and Arsenal lining up for Oblak

When asked whether Atlético had been in direct contact with him about his contractual situation, Oblak replied: "We haven't really spoken every much about that". The 25-year-old is high on the agenda of a number of Europe's top clubs europeo with PSG, Arsenal and Liverpool seemingly the most intent on luring him away from LaLiga. For the moment, Oblak is keeping his options open and feels the ball is in Atlético's court. When asked about the interest from the above clubs, and the possibility of abandoning Atlético at the end of the season, he replied: "It's difficult to talk about the future. It's hard enough to talk abouit what will happen tomorrow, never mind what will happen next season. The only thing I do know is that right now I am an Atlético player with a contract that runs until 2021. I am at a club where I have always felt comfortable. What does the future hold? We'll see...".
