Kiev final will be "a piece of cake" for Real Madrid, says Paco Gento
After tickets were drawn for the Champions League final in Kiev, Real Madrid's Honorary President Paco Gento told AS he is convinced Los Blancos will beat Liverpool.
Paco Gento was in charge of activating the programme which selected and assigned the 12,802 tickets allocated to Real Madrid's season ticket holders for this month's Champions League final against Liverpool. Gento, Real Madrid's Honorary President, the only player to have six European Cup winners' medals joined Social Area Manager José Luis Sánchez and public notary Cruz Gonzalo López-Müller at the event. After the draw was made, Gento gave his thoughts on the final to AS: “Everyone gets excited by these kind of games - everyone wants to be there to support the team and cheer them on to win another European Cup - and continue this great run we're in and which we have always enjoyed [in this competition]. Madrid cannot let this chance slip - finals are to be won, not played and Real Madrid know what is at stake".
