Supercopa: Barca and Sevilla could postpone opening La Liga fixtures
FEF vicepresident confirms the clubs want to play two legs, which could take place on August 12 and 19.
New vicepresident of the Federación Española de Fútbol, Andre Subies, has confirmed that Barcelona and Seville could postpone their opening fixtures of La Liga 2018-19 to play the two legs of Sopercopa de España, which could be set for the August 12 and 19, if Seville gives the green light.
An August 5 encounter is impossible for Barcelona, as they will be finish their tour of the US on August 4, and both teams will want to have all of their internationals fit and available for selection.
"The dates aren't clear. It's difficult because La Liga it is difficult to delay the start of La Liga and Barca returns on the 4th from the United States.
