With Odriozola to wear No. 19: here's how the Madrid squad numbers look
The new Real Madrid signing takes the squad number previously used by Moroccan international Achraf.
Álvaro Odriozola is set to wear the number 19 shirt next season with Real Madrid. The squad number was left vacant following the loan deal secured by Moroccan defender Achraf who joins Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund for two seasons.
The 22-year-old player will wear the same squad number he sported at his former club Real Sociedad with him being allocated the number 12 shirt with the Spanish squad at the recent Russia World Cup.
The number 7 shirt is also without an owner following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Serie A side Juventus. As of July 18, this is how the 2018/19 season Real Madrid squad numbers have been allocated:
