Suárez: 'I regret playing 90 minutes against Leganés last year before the Roma game'
Luis Suárez sat down to do an interview with RAC1 and says he regreats not regulating his minutes last season and will try to do so this year.
Luis Suárez has sat down at the microphone with 'Tu dirás' on RAC1 and it will be aired on Tuesday at 22:30. The Uruguayan striker says he regrets playing a full 90 minutes before a game that defined their season in the Champions League and hints that Barça will be more mindful of minutes this season in order to help their charge towards European success.
"I regret playing the game last year against Leganés a lot," he says in a preview for the interiew. "I played the full game when we were a lot of points ahead and in three days we had a final against Roma."
Barcelona went on to get knocked out of the Champions League when they lost 3-0 to Roma after winning the Leganés game 3-1. He says he is going to be "conscious and the manager sees these little details that I think will help us to regulate the squad this year."
