REAL MADRID - VALENCIA
Isco starts on the bench for Real Madrid v Valencia
Real Madrid coach Scolari put the midfielder from Málaga on the bench for the Valencia game. Isco came on for Ceballos in the 79th minute.
Another Real Madrid starting XI, another side without Isco in it. The midfielder was in Solari’s squad, but he starts on the bench. At least that’s a step up from the Champions League match against Roma on Tuesday, when Isco travelled to the Eternal City, but was told to watch the match from the stands.
Isco "disrespected" Solari
According to various reports the relationship between Solari and Isco has broken down, with sources talking of the player disrespecting the coach. What’s certain is that Isco hasn’t started a single game under Solari, missing out on all seven matches in which the new coach has been charge.
Along with Roma, the other game where Isco wasn't even on the bench was was the Copa del Rey game against Melilla, in agreement with the coach and along with a number of other senior players. But not only has he not started the other five games he was on the bench for, he’s only played 78 minutes under Solari, just 14% of the 560 possible.
