How much is the Powerball jackpot now?

A $194m jackpot was up for grabs on Wednesday, with an $86.8m cash option. For the 14th straight drawing, however, no tickets matched all six numbers to strike it rich.

That means the Powerball’s top figure has now rolled over once more, rising to an estimated $212m. The cash option has increased to an estimated $94.7m.

The next drawing takes place on Saturday, June 6, at 10:59 p.m. ET/7:59 p.m. PT.

Per Powerball organizers, a single ticket - which costs $2 - has a one-in-292,201,338 chance of winning the jackpot.

If you do land the pot, you are given two options:

• You can receive the total jackpot amount in growing annual instalments spread over 29 years
• Or opt for the smaller, cash-option figure as an up-front, lump-sum payment

What other prizes are up for grabs?

While the Powerball jackpot captures the headlines, there are also numerous smaller amounts to be won. Secondary prizes range from $4 to $1 million or more, depending on how many winning numbers a player matches.

Non-jackpot prizes can be multiplied by adding the Power Play option for an additional $1.
