Butragueño: "Girona will be very, very tough rivals"

Real Madrid's Director of Institutional Relations Emilio Butragueño was at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas for this evening's Copa del Rey quarter final draw and gave his reaction to the outcome - with Madrid to face Girona. As always, Butragueño was cautious and paid Girona boss Eusebio Sacristán compliments while insisting that winning the Cup is high on Madrid's list of priorities.
Not an easy tie for Real Madrid
Girona: "They're going to be a very, very dificult rival. They eliminated Atlético in the last round and we all know Atlético's potential in the Cup. For that reason, they deserve merit. We'll need to put in two great games if we want to be back in the draw for the semi-finals".
The 'Chumi Case': "We've nothing to say on the matter. It's not an issue concerning us".
What would you recommend Levante to do in the Chumi Case? "As I say, we have nothing to say because it's nothing to do with us".
The Copa del Rey as a prime objective: "Every competition is important to Real Madrid. We have a lot of hope placed in the Cup, and we'll be doing everything possible to make the next round. Every game is important - for what they mean to our fans and the prestige of the club. We always do everything we can to win".
Will Benzema undergo surgery? "We're here to talk about the quarter final ties and to be frank, as I said earlier, I think Girona are going to force us to play to the best of our ability. That's what we are focusing on".

Madrid, quarter final rivals: "For us, it's an absolute dream. To have drawn the reigning European champions is fantastic. We're looking forward to the experience and we'll be trying to compete. To be realistic, Madrid are the favourites, they have a squad full of great players. But we knocked Atlético out but we'll be going into this tie with the same humility".
Dream to play the Copa del Rey quarter finals: "It's difficult to meet Madrid in the quarter final. We know what it will entail. We're focused on the league but this is also a moment of happiness for us - a chance for us to dream. The players have belief in themselves and we'll be going into both games to compete. The first leg is away from home, that could sentence the tie. We'll try and come back to Girona with a good result to be able to compete in Montilivi so that our fans can continue dreaming".
