Pelé hospitalised in Paris

Brazilian footballing legend Pelé was taken to hospital late lat night shortly after participating in a marketing event with Kylian Mbappé.

The 78-year-old suffered a tetany attack as he relaxed in his hotel and was rushed to a central Parisian hospital report "RMC Sport". Pelé's entourage were anxious to point-out that taking the former player to a hospital was merely a preventative measure and that the Brazilian's life was not in danger.

Pelé and PSG striker Mbappé earlier participated in a publicity event promoting a brand of watch. The event was rescheduled from last Autumn when the Brazilian's ill health at the time forced the marketing event to be re-scheduled.
