Alejandro Pozuelo brought Week 8 of MLS to a close with another individual award, as one of the two goals he scored in Toronto FC's 4-3 victory over Minnesota United was picked as the AT&T Goal of the Week.

It is the second time the newly MLS player has picked up the Goal of the Week - his cheeky chip against New York City FC in Week 5 was voted the best finish and this latest recognition comes after he was named Player of the Week, following his outstanding performance at the weekend.

The Spaniard has been exceptional in filling the playmaker's role at Toronto since joining the club. His stunning strike against Minnesota was his third in the American League, and gained 43 percent of the votes, ahead of the goal scored by LAFC captain, Carlos Vela who gained a 21 per cent share of the votes.

The week's other great goals

Shea Salina's goal for San José Earthquakes got 16 percent of the votes while Bryan Acosta's goal earned 12 per cent. In last place was Portland Timbers Jorge Moreira, whose strike pulled in 8 per cent of the votes.
