Today, Tuesday, is the set date for the end of the MLS Primary Transfer window, which means that teams won't be able to make changes to their rosters after that and will have to wait until the summer if they want to do any transfer business.

There's still time to make a few last-minute moves, but which of the teams are most in need of taking advantage of the last day of the transfer window?

LA Galaxy

The West Coast team lost one of its key players with Romain Alessandrini's injury, meaning he's out until September. They can still count on names like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Jona dos Santos and Sebastian Lletget (note that with the Frenchman, Galaxy had a 4-0-0 record), but LA Galaxy needs to cut the distance with crosstown rivals, LAFC, who are clear contenders for the title above them. So it might be a sensible move for them to find someone to take Alessandrini's place in attack, if not they could trust in Pontius and Boateng to take his place - which could be risky.

Toronto FC

They are on a great run with Spaniard, Alejandro Pozuelo, and the Canadian team could be in the run for the MLS Cup if they keep playing the way they are and keep scoring goals. However, the team is short on defense, which could cause a major problem - which is why Toronto might want to consider adding a defender before deadline.

Sporting Kansas City

SPK has the longest injured list in the league, a list that includes players in all positions, but they're more in trouble in defense, having conceded four goals against New England Revolution.

That means they're one of the teams that has to have as a top priority adding some defenders before the transfer window closes, although any addition would definitely help.

New England Revolution

The 'Revs' are sitting in 12th place with eight points 11 games into the season with a -9 goal differential. It would be wise for them not to wait until the second transfer window to bring in someone, despite wanting to add a DP from Europe, because there's still time for them to turn around their season, but that won't be the case if they wait.
