Cristiano Ronaldo says 'yes' to Sarri
The Juventus star believes the Italian coach can improve his goal-scoring stats and has given his agreement, according to Tuttosport.
Cristiano Ronaldo won the Serie A in his first season with Juventus since his move from Real Madrid in the summer of 2018, but he missed out on the Champions League, which he'd won three times in a row with his former club. The European Cup, both for Cristiano Ronaldo and for Juventus, remains the number one obsession.

The Portuguese star also saw his personal goal-scoring stats reduced this season compared to previous years and is desperate to regain his previous highs. According to Tuttosport, he believes Maurizio Sarri could be the man to improve his personal stats and bring in titles at Juventus, with Ronaldo giving his approval for a move for the coach who recently won the Europa League with Chelsea.
Sarri's style could suit Ronaldo
Sarri plays an offensive brand of football which Ronaldo feels will suit his style of play. The Italian coach enjoys a 4-3-3 set-up, which would see Ronaldo either playing in the middle or coming in off the wing as he did at Real Madrid under Zidane.
Above all, Sarri has shown an ability to understand his strikers and a number of big names have recorded their best seasons under him. At Napoli, under Sarri, Huguaín became the best ever capocannoniere in the history of Serie A with 36 goals, while Mertens hit 28 across all competitions under the Italian's orders.
Ronaldo looking to shine under Sarri
The most recent player to shine under Sarri has been Eden Hazard - he managed his best ever goal-scoring season in 2018-19, notching 21 goals in 52 games. He only bettered that at Lille in 11/12 when he scored 22.
Cristiano Ronaldo this season scored 28 for Juventus, having scored over 40 in his last five seasons at Real Madrid. The Portuguese star wants Sarri to push him back up the scoring charts.
