Michy Batshuayi hinted Christian Pulisic's hiring in the winter transfer was to prevent Eden's Hazard departure in the summer, and now the American striker arrives at the 'Blues' with the task of becoming the benchmark of the squad, in their mission to win the Premier League and the Champions League next season.

Batshuayi said farewell to Hazard on social media, but instead of a positive reaction, the Belgian attacker got some comments asking for Chelsea to sign a player able to replace their star.

"Good luck on this new adventure to the guy who's been an inspiration, a model & a brother to me. Fully deserved. My Little Belgian wizard," read the text. In reply, a user named 'Chelseaheat' said: "Now, go do your work as our best agent and let's find a replacement (or at least try to)."

The former Valencia striker answered with a clever "I signed Pulisic already, but I'll see what I can do." The problem, though, is that Chelsea are banned from bringing in players for the next two transfer windows due to financial fair play breaches.

The Londoners went to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to request a precautionary measure that would allow them to sign new players in the next transfer window.
