Atlético president Enrique Cerezo, who smahsed the club's transfer record by almost double to land the highly rated teenager, who has already drawn comprisons to Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 19-year-old has become the most expensive Portuguese player in history, eclipsing his idol Cristiano Ronaldo - although the Juventus player's combined transfer fees top 200 million euros.

Félix said he chose to come to Atlético because it was one of the top clubs in the world and Diego Simeone has a reputation for getting the best out of players.
