Vinicius picks it up and looks for Mendy on the overlap. It's blocked and Real Madrid win it back.

Bayern work the ball out expertly from the back. Ball eventually played into Pavard's path but it rolls out over the line being closely watched by Mendy.
Kubo to Jovic and he tries the first time pass to Mendy. It's just behind him though as Bayern survive a scare.

Another cross sent in and Benzema literally inches away from getting a head to that and making it 1-1.

Isco's free hits the wall and then his second effort hits someone in the stands.
Hazard is fouled a couple of times and the referee eventually blows the whistle. Free for Real Madrid and Hazard looks to be limping away from that.
Nice stepover from Asensio as the ball comes in from Marcelo. He catches nothing but fresh air with his strike and it falls to Asensio, who sees his shot half-blocked as it bounces up to Neuer.
Ramos plays on for now.
Ramos down now after taking a knock to the side of the leg. It was Muller's knee that caught him. He gets up but is very much not comfortable.
Varane steps in front of a diagonal ball and he steps out of defense. He tries to send Asensio down the right but that pass is a mile ahead of his teammate. No chance.
Renato Sanches shoots from the corner that falls to him and it's saved by Courtois.
Great save by Courtois. Tiago with a shot from distance and the Belgian saves for a corner. Nice effort and nice stop.
Ball lofted in amongst Benzema and Varane and it's headed over by Varane, it looks like.

Benzema getting loads of chances. He drives this one wide from a tight angle and faced with a sea of red jerseys. Neuer gets down to deny him.
Kimmich has a fairly vanilla-looking shot. It takes a deflection and nearly loops over Courtois though. He grabs it fairly easily as he's backtracking.
Hazard and Benzema link up again but it's a touch too heavy and Benzema's can't control it.
Kovac taking notes on the sideline. He'll be the happier coach so far. Not great from Real Madrid even if they have had a couple of chances.

GOAL! Tolisso buries it at the second time of asking. Courtois saved the first one but Tolisso follows it up with a no-nonsense strike.
Really good pressue from Madrid and Kroos and Modric can't deal with it. They cought it up and they attack now.
Kimmich again with the cross. Better this time but too close to Courtois.
Coman looks to thread one through. It's straight to Courtois.
Another save by Neuer that defies logic. Lovely, teasing cross by Modric and Benzema hits it although it took a deflection. Neuer there to reject the striker again.
Asensio hits it.
Lovely flick by Hazard into Isco's path. He plays out to Carvajal and it comes back to Isco, who is fouled. Free for Real Madrid outside the box. Hazard might fancy this.
Coman goes around Carvajal but he played it really well and Coman runs it out over the line.
Bayern have gotten a foothold in this one. Kimmich crosses and it's a mile over everyone. Decent move from Bayern as they have a little more luck in possession.
Tiago tries to thread one through but Isco picks it up and Benzema is offside as he gets set free.
Bayern's turn to attack. Sanches back to Tiago and Boateng whips one out wide. Ends up back at the right foot of Sanches and he launches it over the bar.
What a save by Neuer. Isco arrives to tap home, or so he thinks. It was offside but a nice move that so nearly ended in a goal. Fairly intense game here so far.
What is Neuer doing? He kicks it out for a corner.
Marcelo launches a ball forward and it falls to Benzema. He strikes and slices it wide but there was a free in the build-up.

Gareth Bale has not even warmed up with his teammates tonight. He's not in the squad but he's not injured. Zidane will give an explanation as to what happened in the press conference after the game according to reports.
Chance for Jann-Fiete Arp tonight for Bayern too. He just joined from Hamburg and at 19 is trying to play his way into Kovac's plans.
Real Madrid are ovebooked on the wings. They've moved on Odegaard but they still have to move a few more. Lucas Vazquez could be a casualty and Brahim's recent injury hasn't helped his cause.
Asensio and Isco's futures are in the air. Zidane wants to give them chances in the preseason but that doesn't mean they start the season at the club.
That's a very attacking midfield for Real Madrid. Zidane has only opted for one new signing. A chance for Asensio and Isco too, who both have been linked with potential moves away.

Antonio Pintus left this summer after a falling out with Zidane when he didn't leave last year along with the French man. Real Madrid have a new strength and conditioning coach and he is very meticuloud. Take a look at the details that Dupont looks at to make sure his players are in tip top shape!
Zidane says it's 'not a problem' if Bale stays at Real Madrid. There is currently a stand-off between the player and the coach, who has been backed by the club. He won't take a pay cut and likes his life in Madrid so it will have to be a very enticing offer to make him leave. Zidane has told him he isn't in his plans though. It will be interesting to see if he starts tonight or sees the field at all.
Bayern have also been linked with Gareth Bale and Ousmane Dembele if Barcelona should need to sell to buy Neymar.
Bayern are "waiting for the dominos to fall" in the transfer market but they have been busy too.
They signed lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard.
They have been linked with Dani Olmo, Brais Mendez, Leroy Sane and more players having lost Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben along with James Rodriguez and Mats Hummels also.
Real Madrid had a fairly pitiful year last season. They went through two coaches before bringing back Zinedine Zidane and were humbled by Ajax in the Champions League before falling streets behind Barcelona and Atlético Madrid in the league.
They responded to that disappointment with the biggest spend in their history this summer! They have refreshed the squad with Mendy, Jovic, Hazard, Militao and Rodrygo arriving.
Eden Hazard will wear the number 50 tonight against Bayern. It's the 50th anniversary of the moon landing and Real Madrid's galactico commemorates the historic day! He still has no number with Modric not giving him the number 10 and with Mariano Diaz wearing the number 7 currently.
One of his new teammates, Hazard, was "made for Real Madrid" according to Cesc Fabregas. We should get a look at the galactico tonight.
Ramos remains though! He has plenty of new teammates but he will captain the side again this season.
