St Petersburg, Munich and London expected to host 2021-23 UCL finals

The host cities for the forthcoming 2021, 2022 and 2023 final venues will be confirmed by UEFA during their meeting in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 24 September 2019.

The UEFA Executive Committee are next scheduled to meet in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana on 24 September (2019) and on the agenda is the nominating of the cities that will host the 2021, 2022 and 2023 UEFA Champions League finals.

The 2020 final will be staged in the Turkish city of Istanbul with holders Liverpool hoping of a return to the venue where they claimed their dramatic 2005 win overcoming AC Milan on penalties at the 76,000 capacity Attaturk Olympic stadium.

AP News report that St Petersburg, Munich and London will be awarded the subsequent finals with FC Zenit St Petersburg’s 68,000 capacity Gazprom Arena the venue for the 2021 final. The 75,000 seat Allianz Arena, home to Bundesliga powerhouse FC Bayern Munich is set to be the venue for the following year with England's national team Wembley Stadium venue to host the 2023 final, coinciding with it's centenary year of the original stadium first opening.

All three venues will also be used as part of the twelve nation Euro 2020 tournament with Wembley also staging the final game on July 12th.
