Haaland keeping cards close

At the age of 20 the Norwegian is finding himself being linked with a move to many of Europe's elite clubs and he was asked about the potential of this happening soon during an interview with local newspaper Dagbladet. He definitely did not want to give much away as can be seen from the exchange with the journalist.

Journalist: "How are you dealing with the [tranfer] rumours?

Haaland: "I'm dealing with them well."

Journalist: "Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid: what do you think about playing at any of them?"

Haaland: "You know my answer. No comment."

Journalist: "What would it be like to play with Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus?

Haaland: "No comment."

Haaland's secret 'girlfriends'

Haaland, who initially made headlines after scoring nine goals in the same match for the Norway side against Honduras in the u-20 World Cup, also explained some of the secrets to his success in this season.

"I sleep with the five balls that I have for each hat-trick I scored. I lie in bed and I feel good with them.

"I look at them every day. They are my girlfriends," the striker says with a laugh.

The Norwegian attacker is currently with his national team as they target qualification for next summer's European Championships.

"The objective is two victories. If we still can't qualify, winning is important for the FIFA ranking.

"There will also be two important tests in the League of Nations play-offs in March."
