Cristiano: "My son hopes I'll keep playing for a few more years..."

Cristiano Ronaldo says he has achieved so much in the game that he really has nothing left to prove to anyone - part from those closest to him. Speak at the International Sports Conference in Dubai, the Juventusstar added that if possible, he would like to prolong his career so that his son can eventually play with him at some point in the future.

“The numbers speak for themselves – I don’t have to prove anything to anyone," Cristiano said. "But… what I do need to do is show what I can do to myself, my family and my children… Sometimes, my son will say to me, ‘Dad, keep going for a few more years - I want to be able to play with you..’ It's very difficult but I can do it, you never know".

Cristiano is in his second season with Juve and has two years left to run on his contract. His son Cristiano Jr. is nine years old and enjoying his football in Juventus' youth categories so his dad will have to remain in the game well into his 40s for his dream to come true.
