The players that left the Liga MX to shine in MLS this year

Major League Soccer is preparing for its 25th season this year and has important signings to celebrate. Two of the players that arrived to make an impact in the league came from the Liga MX, Lucas Zelarayán who left Tigres and Lucas Cavallini who left Puebla.

Both players have already scored their first goal during preseason games and are ready to make an impact in the beginning of the season next week. Zelarayán signed with Columbus Crew while Cavallini signed with Vancouver Whitecaps.

Lucas Zelarayán

The midfielder decided to leave Tigres because he was not a current starter. Columbus Crew has become his new house and the team will rely a lot on his talent in this upcoming season. Zelarayán already demonstrated that he has come to make an impact by scoring his first goal against Houston in the last preseason game.

Lucas Cavallini

The striker had offers from important clubs like Cruz Azul, but decided to continue his career with Vancouver Whitecaps. The Uruguayan played in the four preseason games and scored four goals. This weekend Cavallini tied the game against Minnesota United from a penalty kick.
