French Open postponed, confirm Roland Garros officials
The French Open was due to start in May but the grand slam will now take place in September due to coronavirus.
The French Open has been postponed and will be played in September and October, tournament organisers have announced.
Coronavirus puts French Open on hold
Another sporting event has been hit by the spread of Covid-19, and will provisionally be scheduled for later in the year.
The new dates announced will obviously be determined on whether or not countries get the crisis under control by then.
