Inter Miami modify logo to promote social distancing
In order to promote social distancing, David Beckham’s Major League Soccer franchise decided to alter their logo this Monday, as the planet battles the coronavirus pandemic.
David Beckham’s new team opted to promote social distancing by modifying the team’s logo by separating the two great white herons, whose legs are normally interlocked, in order to send the message to their fans and all their followers on their social-media accounts.
“Covid-19 has stopped the world in its tracks and as a result it has never been more important to heed the advice and direction of the authorities to stand for unity and participation in social distancing,” declared Chris Allen, the team’s president of community engagement.
