Donald Trump says China has more Covid-19 deaths than the US

POTUS denies that the United States has more coronavirus deaths than China and he believes something strange is happening there.

Estados UnidosUpdate:
Donald Trump says China has more Covid-19 deaths than the US

As of Friday April 17, the United States is the country with the most confirmed coronavirus cases (716,995) and also tops the list with more victims, a total of 38,800. However, President of the U.S. Donald Trump has said that China must have far more deaths than the 4,632 reported.

Trump believes something strange is going on in China and that they are covering up their numbers regarding the coronavirus pandemic that started in the city of Wuhan. “We don’t have the most in the world deaths, the most in the world had to be China. It’s a massive country. It’s gone through tremendous problems with this and they have the most.”

Trump also said that the United States government is seeking to determine whether the virus emanated from a laboratory in China, “a lot of strange things are happening, but there is a lot to investigate and we are going to find out.”

China, for their part, has already denied covering up the true extent of the coronavirus pandemic after releasing new figures that increase the death toll in Wuhan by 50 per cent. Officials said the revision was due to overwhelmed hospitals and medical staff, which meant some people died at home after being unable to be admitted. The surge of patients also meant delayed or missed reports about infections and deaths.
