President Donald Trump is a known adherent of Twitter and he often uses his personal account to send messages to the people of the United States and others abroad when the mood takes him. Among the tweets he sent on 26 April was one where he claimed that in his three and a half years he has done more than any other president in the history of the US.

“The people that know me and know the history of our Country say that I am the hardest working President in history. I don’t know about that, but I am a hard worker and have probably gotten more done in the first 3 1/2 years than any President in history. The Fake News hates it,” Tweeted Trump on Sunday.

Earlier in the day he also tweeted that the media is to blame for the spread of coronavirus in the United States and replied to an article written by the New York Times that said Trump had failed as a president during this pandemic.

The US is the epicenter of the outbreak

The United States has become the epicenter of the coronavirus in the entire world. As of April 26 there were 977,630 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 55,013 fatalities. Health experts are expecting these numbers to rise as many states plan to end their quarantine periods in line with Trump’s desire to reopen the economy.
