REAL MADRID | ZIDANE

Zidane fuming at reporter's question: "You're always trying to stir up trouble between Gareth Bale and me - you won't succeed"

Zinedine Zidane was annoyed by one of the questions in today's press conference. He was asked if it would be better for Gareth Bale to leave Real Madrid.

Update:
Zidane fuming at reporter's question: "You're always trying to stir up trouble between Gareth Bale and me - you won't succeed"

Zinedine Zidane was clearly irritated by one reporter's question during today's press conference as the coach looked forward to tomorrow's meeting with Villarreal. With Real Madrid requiring just two points to be crowned champions of LaLiga and with two games left to play, Zidane was asked a negative question about Gareth Bale, who has not played in any of the team's last five games. Despite being offended, the Madrid coach politely answered, and pointed out that the press will never be able to stir up friction between him and the Welsh forward - however much they insist. Zizou then publicly defended Bale: "He is one of us".

Zidane: "You will never be able to create friction within my squad, we are as one"

"After all of the commotion about what has been going on off the pitch, do you think it would be better for the atmosphere within the squad  if Gareth Bale were to leave Real Madrid this summer?"

Clearly tired of such questions, Zidane replied: "That's no concern of mine, pal. What a question! ...so what can I say? We are thinking about tomorrow's game and Gareth Bale is doing exactly the same, all he is thinking about is tomorrow's game. He is one of us. You are trying to put things between us, trying to stir up trouble but you will not be able to do that, ok? And another thing, every day you ask me the same question... fine, you are withing your rights to do that or ask whatever you want but in the end, I hope you know that you will not succeed [in driving a wedge between us]. We are united, as one, and all of us think exactly the same - Gareth, James and all of us here think exactly the same and we all want the same thing".
